KCS Announces Track Repairs in Missouri - Louisiana Corridors

Track work between Kansas City, Missouri and Shreveport, Louisiana
 
On May 23, 2011, The Kansas City Southern Railway Company (KCSR) began replacing ties and rail on the track between Blue Valley and Drexel, Missouri (45 miles on the Pittsburg Subdivision). We anticipate the work will last about eight weeks, ending around July 14.  
On July 18, KCSR will begin replacing ties and rail on the track between Joplin, Missouri and Potter, Arkansas (330 miles on the Heavener Subdivision). We anticipate the work will last about 12 weeks, ending around October 13.
